Welcome to Darknet Questions.

This community is dedicated to education and discussion about the dark web, Tor, privacy, OPSEC, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, scam awareness, and related technologies.

Beginners are welcome. Before posting a question, please check the Wiki and Guides—your question may already be answered there.

1. :prohibited: No Buying, Selling, or Soliciting

Do not use this community to buy, sell, trade, or arrange transactions involving illegal goods or services.

This includes asking members to contact you privately to complete a transaction.

2. :link: No Darknet Market Links

Do not post direct links to darknet markets or other illegal marketplaces.

Links to legitimate educational, privacy, security, cryptocurrency, and open-source resources are allowed.

3. :pill: No Sourcing Questions

Do not ask where or how to purchase illegal drugs, weapons, stolen information, fraudulent services, or other illegal goods.

Questions about darknet technology, safety, privacy, scams, and how these ecosystems work are welcome.

4. :money_bag: No Fraud or Financial Crime

No tutorials, requests, or offers involving:

  • Carding
  • Stolen accounts
  • Identity theft
  • Money laundering
  • Account takeovers
  • Fraudulent refunds
  • Stolen cryptocurrency
  • Other financial crimes

Discussion of these subjects for education, prevention, or scam awareness is permitted.

5. :locked_with_key: Protect Personal Information

Do not post names, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, private keys, seed phrases, login credentials, or other sensitive information.

Never share your cryptocurrency seed phrase or private keys with anyone.

6. :warning: No Scamming or Phishing

Scammers, phishing attempts, impersonation, fake services, malicious downloads, and attempts to steal cryptocurrency or account credentials will result in removal and may result in an immediate ban.

Reporting and analyzing suspected scams is encouraged.

7. :shield: Keep Advice Safe and Responsible

Do not deliberately give users dangerous or misleading security advice.

When discussing Tor, OPSEC, PGP, cryptocurrency, or cybersecurity, clearly distinguish personal opinion from established security practices.

Nobody has perfect OPSEC. Be willing to correct mistakes and learn from others.

8. :handshake: Be Respectful

Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks, harassment, threats, excessive trolling, and deliberately disruptive behavior are not.

Correct bad information without attacking the person asking the question.

Remember that many members are here specifically because they’re learning.

9. :wastebasket: No Spam

No repetitive advertising, referral spam, unsolicited promotions, or flooding the community with low-quality posts.

Relevant resources may be shared when they genuinely contribute to the discussion.

10. :books: Check the Wiki & Guides/FAQ

We maintain educational resources covering many frequently asked questions.

Before creating a new topic, please check the Wiki and Guides and our FAQ.

If something isn’t covered—or you don’t understand something you read—feel free to ask.
